The Day After Christmas

It is the day after Christmas and I sense there are those saying to themselves, “Christmas is over, what is left?”  Immediately the response comes to my mind, “Christmas celebrations are over, but MERCY PRESIDES!”

What was the intended purpose of the Christ Child being born?  To bring forth mercy, grace, and salvation for all to receive.  So, do not allow loneliness, depression, oppression, or any of this like to hinder your thinking today.  Gravitate to the wonders of the season you celebrated, lean into Jesus, and remain thankful for all He has done.  Allow His Presence to fill your days, now that the presents have been put away.  Seek His face for the peace you desire and accept His enduring love and mercy.

Jesus was the reason for the season, but

HE REMAINS THE REASON FOR OUR LIVING!

John 10:10b – I have come that they may have life, and that they may have it more abundantly.

Isaiah 9:6 – For unto us a Child is born, Unto us a Son is given; And the government will be upon His shoulder. And His name will be called Wonderful, Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace.
